RIP Frank Whetten

Yesterday I attended the wake of Frank Whetten, who died of brain cancer on July 7th.  Unfortunately, I was only able to attend part of it because I had a medical appointment.

People say it's incredible how I keep fighting and not giving up, but I'm nothing compared to him.  He was incredibly smart.  He was one of the three or for of us in the brain tumor support group that when we got talking other people just assumed what we were talking about was way over their heads.

He had a passion for traveling, even after he got really sick.  I know from personal experience how traveling with brain cancer takes a lot out of you.  I don't know how he did it.

You can learn more about Frank and give donations to brain tumor research at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in honor of him at http://flwhetten.com/.

R.I.P. Frank, I hope it's interesting on the other side.
