Second Gamma Knife and Chemo

As many of you know, I had a second gamma knife on December 23rd.  I just now got back from an appointment with my neural-oncologist.  Since the chemo I've been on no longer seems to work, I will start a different kind next week.  Whereas the chemo I was on was oral, this will be given though IV at two week intervals (it is slightly more complex than that but that is the essentials).

There are a couple of good points about it being given by IV.  I have been having a lot of trouble keeping liquids down when I was on oral chemo, but they will be able to give me fluids by IV at the same time as the chemo, so hopefully I will be better able to stay hydrated.  We get free parking when I get infusions.  The nurses at the infusion room are very good and the room is comfortable.

I'm actually looking forward to getting in this new routine.  It has been a while since I've had an external routine and hopefully it will give me a sense of progress.
